DESCRIPTION: We seek a Product Specialist II to support growth through technical sales expertise and customer relationship management. You'll provide sophisticated technical guidance while promoting our innovative product portfolio to academic, pharmaceutical, biotech, and industrial customers. Working closely with sales teams and customers, you'll deliver effective value propositions, conduct product demonstrations, and provide comprehensive application support. Your role is essential in helping customers advance their research and manufacturing capabilities while contributing to our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree plus 2 years of technical sales experience or equivalent laboratory/industry experience preferred. • Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering or related scientific field • Professional certifications relevant to specific product areas (e.g., Medical Laboratory Technology) may be required for certain positions • Deep technical expertise in relevant scientific applications and workflows • Strong presentation and consultation skills for delivering technical product demonstrations • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English; additional languages as needed • Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and relevant technical software • Strong project management and organizational capabilities • Ability to travel 25-50% of time to customer sites and events • Experience developing and maintaining strategic customer relationships • In-depth knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization • Self-directed with ability to work independently while supporting team objectives • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with scientific advances Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $62,300.00–$93,425.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
