Job Description Summary

The Senior Director, Total Rewards provides senior leadership for the execution, governance, and evolution of Enterprise’s Total Rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and recognition.

Reporting to the AVP, Total Rewards and HRIS, this role serves as a critical bridge between strategy and execution translating enterprise Total Rewards strategy into scalable programs, operating models, and processes that enable business performance and workforce outcomes. The role leads enterprise-wide program delivery while bringing forward insights, recommendations, and continuous improvements that help refine and strengthen the overall Total Rewards strategy.

This position partners closely with HR Business Partners, and senior leaders to drive disciplined execution, to ensure Total Rewards programs are competitive, and aligned with organizational priorities. Partnering with Finance, HRIS and IT to enhance analytics, compliance and governance.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Enablement & Program Governance

Operationalize the enterprise Total Rewards strategy set by the AVP, ensuring programs are translated into consistent, scalable practices

Provide insights and recommendations to inform ongoing strategy refinement

Strengthen governance frameworks to ensure alignment and risk mitigation

Compensation Strategy Execution & Advisory

Lead execution of enterprise compensation programs including merit and incentives

Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership on pay decisions and market alignment

Identify trends and insights to inform decision-making

Benefits Strategy Execution & Optimization

Oversee delivery of benefits programs aligned with enterprise strategy

Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend enhancements

Ensure strong vendor governance and accountability

Analytics, Insights & Operational Excellence

Advance analytics to support data-driven decision-making

Translate insights into actionable recommendations

Drive process and system improvements

Financial Alignment & Stewardship

Partner with Finance on budgeting and workforce planning

Support forecasting and modeling

Ensure disciplined program management

Leadership & Enterprise Partnership

Lead and develop a high-performing team

Enable HR Business Partners through tools and guidance

Act as a trusted partner to AVP, Total Rewards and HRIS, CHRO and senior leaders

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred

Experience

10–15+ years Total Rewards experience

5-7 years management experience

Expertise in compensation and benefits

Experience leading enterprise compensation cycles

Experience leading and managing large scale organization transformation

Proficient and strong Workday acumen

Preferred

CCP, CEBS, CBP, Total Rewards certification, or SHRM-SCP certification

Total Rewards at Enterprise:

Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family.

The base salary for this role is $155,000 to $185,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance. The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
