Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Investor Accounting Analyst – Loan Accounting to join a leading financial services organization specializing in commercial real estate (CRE) loan servicing and investment operations. This role focuses on cash management, reconciliations, and remittance reporting across loan portfolios and investor accounts in a regulated environment.
Essential Duties
Perform daily cash management, including tracking, balancing, and fund movement.
Execute reconciliations and resolve discrepancies through transaction-level research.
Prepare and review remittance and investor reporting.
Support loan funding, purchases, and securitization accounting processes.
Maintain data integrity across loan servicing and accounting systems.
Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Support audits and ensure compliance with SOX controls and policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
3+ years of experience in accounting, loan servicing, or financial operations.
Strong experience with cash management, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Experience in transaction-level research and discrepancy resolution.
Experience working in regulated environments (SOX, audit, compliance).
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets).
Knowledge of loan accounting and servicing systems (e.g., Precision).
Understanding of investor reporting (agency, CMBS, or similar).
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workloads.
Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring capabilities.
Travel Requirements No travel will be required, unless at the client’s discretion.

Salary Range SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $60 – 70.
