Commercial Flat Roofer

I run a commercial roofing company that specializes in flat roof installations. We DO NOT do shingles or work on pitched roofs. No residential. I won't work above 2 stories. 100% of my work the last 4 years has been 1 story. This is TPO membrane glued down to an ISO board surface, etc. I only need one worker that does not require experience(although appreciated) as I handle all specialized tasks like heat welding seams, etc. I mainly need a pair of hands for low skill labor (such as laying out ISO board, screws, gluing TPO membrane, etc..), although I'm happy to train. Being so small, we typically work much less than 40 hours per week and that is my goal. On weeks off with a blank schedule you will still get the same salary. As of the past few years and for the next few, almost all of our projects are new construction Taco Bells. Many if not all are out of town, but I cover travel, food expenses, etc. We get a hotel, I get you your own room to crash. When the projects come up, I will need you to be available and ready for me to pick you up without fail. When you work, I work with you. I aim for long weekends off as I will be just as tired as you. The few days at a time we are working, it can be quite physical. There's always plenty of time to rest between projects. Typically with a trained employee, I can complete an out of town Taco Bell in 3 days. The faster we get done, the faster we all go home and rest until the next one pops up on the schedule. How I run this business is very different from other roofing contractors and this is how we've done for over 30 years. Just work hard on the required days alongside myself. Most roofing companies pay hourly. I pay every Friday regardless of schedule. I'd rather we finish a straightforward job quickly without my employee suffering from lower pay. This is a living wage for sporadic physical work. Previous workers stayed with us over 20 years until they aged out and that was for a reason.
