Our Cardiovascular team develops leading solutions for heart recovery, electrophysiology, and stroke. Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic sales leader that can motivate and lead teams to produce exceptional results. In this position you will manage the sales and clinical teams for their assigned territory and nurture our culture of trust, honor, and integrity. You will also manage and partner with the Region Clinical Manager who is responsible for oversight and direction of the clinical consultant team members. You must showcase proven success developing & executing sales strategies that result in the achievement of sales goals. Responsibilities

Direct the region's sales activities that result in meeting annual growth and revenue objectives. Lead/manage the Region Clinical Manager, collaborating with them on the direction and development of the region clinical consultant team members. Directs the sales performance in specified region. Identify, hire, retain and develop talent through proactively managing performance. Develop strategies for launching new accounts and greater penetration in existing accounts. Establish effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of sales. Lead difficult sales negotiations, especially with larger prospects. Collaborate with cross functional departments within the organizations in order to support region growth. Qualifications

BS or advanced degree, MBA Preferred. 5+ years of high-performance experience in the medical device cardiovascular space. 5+ years of management experience of a field commercial team or 2+ of Abiomed Associate Regional Director experience. Ability to gain cooperation of others and lead team members; exhibits ability to lead a diverse team with strong emotional intelligence. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders internal and external. Demonstrated critical thinking in fast paced environment. Ability to exercise judgment in selecting, methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently (oral and written). The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. This position is eligible for a car allowance through the Company's Fleet program. Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation up to 120 hours per calendar year Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington up to 56 hours per calendar year Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays up to 13 days per calendar year Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year The base pay for this position $150,000.
