
Senior Interior Designer

We’re looking for a senior interior designer / architect to lead the interior dimension of our work — shaping spatial experience, material expression, and detailing across projects, while guiding a strong and cohesive interior direction within the studio.
We are a dynamic architecture and interior design studio based in San Francisco, defining ourselves by our core values of experimentation and compassion. As our studio grows, we are looking for someone who can
take ownership of the interior arm of the practice , working closely with the principal while bringing clarity, rigor, and leadership to how interiors are designed and executed. We hope that this individual is passionate about design and has rich experience with modern residential and commercial projects, especially familiar with FFE in the local/global market and interior detailing.
In this role, you will also influence and further develop the firm’s design philosophy while taking the lead. The candidate should enjoy seeing their designs take shape from inception to fully constructed projects.
Responsibilities
Lead interior architecture across multiple projects from concept through construction (SD, DD, CD, CA)
Develop and oversee
material palettes, spatial strategies, and interior detailing systems
Ensure interiors are fully integrated with architectural design
Prepare and coordinate interior drawing sets (plans, elevations, details)
Guide and mentor team members working on interiors
Coordinate with consultants, fabricators, and contractors
Participate in construction administration and site coordination
Qualifications
8–15+ years of experience, with a strong focus on
high-end residential interior architecture and commercial interior .
Proven ability to lead projects through construction
Strong understanding of
materials, assemblies, and detailing
Experience working closely with architects in integrated teams
Ability to move between concept and technical resolution
Proficiency in Revit and Rhino
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Based in the Bay Area and able to work in person
SALARY RANGE
Salary commensurate with experience
