Overview VaynerMedia is looking for a Manager of Organic Search to play a critical role in executing on client success in SEO & AEO engagements across a portfolio of high‑profile client accounts. You will manage organic search campaigns end‑to‑end across a set of client accounts. You will be conducting technical audits, implementing on‑page and content recommendations, supporting local SEO programs, and learning to apply AEO tactics to help clients earn visibility in all the major LLM platforms. This is an ideal role for an analytically strong SEO professional who is eager to deepen their expertise, grow in a fast‑paced agency environment, and develop their skills in a rapidly growing capability. Key Areas of Responsibility
Manage SEO & AEO workstreams across all assigned client accounts, including technical audits, on‑page optimization, content briefs, keyword research, and link‑building
Conduct thorough technical SEO audits, prioritize recommendations, and draft requirements related to site structure, crawlability, indexation, page speed, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup
Support AEO initiatives with senior direction, which includes optimizing content for featured snippets and AI answers, monitoring clients' LLM visibility, and contributing to local search and structured data strategies
Perform keyword and entity research to inform content calendars, optimize existing pages, and identify topical authority opportunities for client sites
Manage local SEO efforts for multi‑location clients, including Google Business Profile optimization, local citation management, and geo‑targeted content updates
Collaborate with content teams, developers, and designers to ensure SEO & AEO best practices are incorporated into new content and site updates
Monitor and analyze performance data across Google Search Console, GA4, and major SEO & AEO platforms, and contribute to regular performance reports with clear insights and recommendations
Assist in the development and implementation of AI‑assisted organic search workflows, including the use of AEO tools for content optimization and analysis
Stay current on Google algorithm updates, AEO trends, and evolving search landscape developments, sharing relevant learnings with the broader team
Experience / Knowledge Required
3–5 years of hands‑on SEO experience, ideally in an agency setting with exposure to multiple client industries and account types
Solid foundation across technical SEO, on‑page optimization, keyword research, content strategy, and local SEO
Familiarity with AEO concepts and an awareness of how AI‑generated answers work, and interest in optimizing content for LLMs
Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and at least one professional SEO platform (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar)
Strong analytical skills with comfort pulling and interpreting data to make strategic recommendations
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable collaborating cross‑functionally with content writers, developers, and paid media teams
