Senior Partnerships Strategist (contingent)
Lumina Corps, Marlborough, MA, United States
Job Summary
As a Senior Partnerships Strategist at Lumina Corps, you will play a crucial role in leading partner engagements for a statewide public health data solutions initiative. This role is fully embedded within a project team that includes Lumina staff, client agency personnel, and other vendor partners. You will operate as a senior strategic voice on the team while also rolling up your sleeves to directly execute the work alongside your colleagues. We are looking for candidates for this role in advance of contract execution, and therefore it is listed as contingent.
What You'll Do:
Lead strategic engagements with state and local partners to raise awareness and foster sustained support for adoption of new processes and tools. Plan and implement partner engagement strategy that aligns with overall product release plan. Work closely with public health SMEs and senior program leadership to identify potential partners, appropriate engagement tactics, and relevant key messages. Develop partner advocacy network with clear roles and responsibilities.
Work as an integrated member of a multidisciplinary project team. Align partner engagement efforts with overall program change management activities (such as training delivery and piloting/onboarding of end users) and continually reinforce overarching program goals and vision.
Use strong presentation skills to convey program priorities and recommendations effectively to project team members, including other vendors, clients, and strategic partners. Facilitate discussions with high-level stakeholders to drive program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Manage the execution of materials development to support partner engagement, including presentations, talking points, and print/digital materials that project team members, including clients, will use in engagement activities. Oversee development and dissemination of partner toolkits, tailored to distinct audience segments.
Qualifications:
Public Sector Expertise: Understanding of operations of state and local public health agencies and public sector data modernization policies.
Engagement Skills: Ability to facilitate the exchange of ideas between partners and clients to ensure successful adoption of processes and tools.
Evaluation Experience: Experience evaluating partner engagement programs and using insights to iteratively evolve and improve effectiveness.
Client Relations Skills: Experience collaborating closely with clients to offer strategic guidance in partner engagement and facilitate complex decisions.
Facilitator Skills: Strong facilitator, comfortable working in ambiguity and evolving environments and who can hold productive space between differing perspectives.
Professional Qualities: Excellent attention to detail, multitasking, prioritizing, and independent working abilities.
Mindset: A continuous improvement mindset, adaptable to various tasks and ways of working. Equally comfortable setting strategic direction and personally executing the day-to-day work needed to move the project forward.
Education and Experience
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, public administration, or a related field, with Master’s degree as a plus. Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience, at least 2 years advising on large scale projects and programs impacting public health practice.
