Responsibilities The Director of Finance will assist in overseeing all financial aspects of the organization and ensure the company's financial health. This individual will be vital in developing financial strategies, monitoring cash flow, managing financial reporting, and leading the seven-member finance team. The Director of Finance will develop and implement financial policies and procedures. prepare and present financial reports for senior management and stakeholders. The Director of Finance will prepare and present monthly financial statements, including variance reports, as well as prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations with timely resolution of reconciling items. The Director will help to lead the budgeting and forecasting process including overseeing the preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulations. In addition, the Director of Finance will manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other external partners.
Salary Range:
$125,000.00 to $140,000.00, plus annual incentive compensation bonus plan.
Qualifications Preferred and Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (master’s degree or CPA preferred)
Proven experience in a senior financial management role
Hospitality background, experience with complex and multi-property setup
Strong understanding of financial data analysis and forecasting
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Solution-oriented leader with previous supervisory experience required
Ability to make strategic financial decisions
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
Minimum two years of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable experience
Minimum of two years in property management accounting and Owner billing
Experience with accounting systems -MS Office, ProfitSword, Track PMS, Oracle, Breezeway and Floqast
Experience in income audit, AP, and general accounting transactions
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Excel spreadsheet applications
Possess knowledge of general payroll functions
Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Must be able to perform general job duties while multi-tasking
Ability to work and communicate well with co-workers, vendors, guests, and owners
