Suited Hospitality is looking for a full-time Public Relations Coordinator to join our team.
Our ideal candidate is Bay Area-based with either a culinary background who loves to write or someone with a PR background who thinks about food 24/7 (like we do), reads food blogs and magazines voraciously with their morning coffee, and keeps a constant ear to the ground for restaurant openings, the latest food & beverage products, and chef news. Incredible organizational skills are crucial, as every aspect of the work is fast-paced.

This position is primarily remote with regular in-person internal meetings and onsite meetings with our Client-Partners. You must have the ability to commute to a workspace and travel to Client-Partner sites.
In this position you will:
Report directly to the Director of Public Relations
Serve as key support to the PR Team and our Client Partners, including preparing for and supporting regularly-scheduled status calls and ensuring timely responses to all client and media inquiries
Draft press materials including press releases, biographies, media briefings, pitches, etc.
Develop and manage media lists
Media List Development and Management
Responsible for report preparation including coverage reportsli>Track and analyze robust data and translate into practical and actionable reports
Support media and PR events for clients, including content development, interviews, and on site/off site events
Build meaningful relationships with our client partners as well as media and influencers
Asset Management: Video, photography, press materials, reports, coverage
Lead preparation of media visits, ensuring database is robust and up-to-date
Monitor news, trends and competitors
Assist on special projects as needed
Basic Requirements:
Bay Area-based with reliable transportation and ability to travel
Bachelor's degree in culinary studies, public relations, marketing, journalism, communications, or a related area of study
Proven advanced written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize based on client and company needs
Extremely organized style and the ability to work efficiently in a variety of settings
1+ years of direct experience in high end fine dining, luxury hotels, and/or wineries
Preferred Experience:
2+ years of public relations account coordinator experience in an agency setting with an emphasis on media relations and consumer products
2+ years of experience managing projects
Experience with Muck Rack, Cision, Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, and video and photo editing software
Technology and Equipment Requirements:
Smartphone
Laptop computer or tablet capable of running all required programs including a webcam for meetings
High-speed, reliable internet connection
Home or shared workspace setup conducive to working efficiently and with limited interruptions/distractions
Compensation and Benefits:
$27-30/hour, depending on experience
FLSA non-exempt position
