Job Overview We are seeking an

EHS Specialist

to support our mining equipment dealer environmental health and safety! Based at our Mesa dealer, you will also support surrounding sites in southern Arizona and California. This role is ideal for someone who is early-to-mid career, eager to learn, and motivated to grow with the business. The EHS Specialist will serve as a trusted resource, helping teams proactively identify hazards, strengthen safe behaviors, and maintain compliance across shop and customer sites.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Start the day with a plan - and be ready for it to change

Balance time between:

Field/site visits

Shop inspections

Visiting customer locations

Reporting and documentation

Travel to sites including Mesa (primary), Tucson, Prescott, Perris & Mojave CA, and other sites as business needs evolve

Spend more time observing behaviors and processes to help further advance our EHS - not just checking for obvious hazards

Key Job Responsibilities

Lead EHS policies, procedures, and best management practices.

Analyze, document, and communicate corrective actions.

Provide technical guidance, education, and mentoring to employees.

Attend daily lineouts with operations teams.

Conduct inspections, audits, facility walkthroughs, and hazard assessments.

Schedule and deliver established training programs which could include: Fall Protection

Working at Heights

Critical Risk Training

Cardinal Rules

New Hire Training

Stormwater Pollution Prevention

Serve as a resource to field teams and respond to occasional after-hours safety calls.

Conduct site and shop inspections across company and customer locations.

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience working in or supporting mining, sand and gravel, or construction operations highly preferred but not required.

Prior experience with ADEQ, EPA, SWPP, DOT, MSHA 5023 preferred.

Willingness to travel up to 60% (planned, with advance notice).

Able to work occasional late-night site visits.

Comfortable working in office, shop/warehouse, and minesite environments.
