Apartment Property Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Apartment Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction, ensuring the property is in excellent condition, and optimizing all property management processes. This role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage, coordinate, and facilitate all aspects of property management, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance, and financial operations.
Develop and implement strategies to effectively market vacant units and maintain occupancy rates.
Enforce lease agreements, address tenant concerns, and handle tenant inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it meets safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic standards.
Prepare and manage property budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met by analyzing and reporting on expense variances.
Hire, train, and supervise on-site staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes high performance and customer service excellence.
Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, working with vendors and contractors as necessary to ensure timely completion within budget.
Keep abreast of market trends, legal requirements, and best practices in property management to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in property management or a related field, with strong knowledge of property management best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships with tenants, vendors, and staff.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). YARDI, MRI
Knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
