The Life and Health Insurance Sales Agent plays a key role in generating new business and retaining existing clients. This position emphasizes a sales-focused approach while ensuring high-quality service is provided to policyholders according to the Agent's Agreement. The primary goal is to drive sales activity through various functions including policy services.
The Sales Agent reports directly to a Managing Representative, Associate Director, or Managing Director and is expected to meet specific weekly and annual objectives related to life & health applications, placements, financial planning interviews, and policy retention metrics.
Success in this role requires self-motivation and the ability to work independently, often during evenings and weekends. The agent will set annual goals as outlined in their Marketing Plan and will have regular check-ins with their supervisor to ensure progress towards sales and service targets.
Qualifications
High school diploma is required; a college degree in business or a related field is preferred. 1 to 3 years of experience in insurance sales is preferred, but not mandatory. A valid life and health insurance license is required. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
