Duties & Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to resident and employee inquiries
Maintain strong relationships with residents, staff, owners, and vendors
Supervise, train, and support onsite property staff
Manage operating budgets, capital budgets, and expenditures
Prepare monthly reports, lease abstracts, and data summaries
Ensure accurate invoice coding and approve payments
Review leases for compliance and accuracy
Oversee delinquency management and collection procedures
Coordinate move‑ins, move‑outs, and unit turnover
Achieve occupancy goals and manage marketing in alignment with Fair Housing
Oversee all property inspections (Investor, HUD, State Agency, etc.)
Respond to after‑hours emergencies when appropriate
Maintain compliance with Affordable Housing programs
Process move‑ins and recertifications including income and asset verification
Demonstrate and uphold Oakbrook's core values
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
High school diploma or GED required
Supervisory experience required
Residential property management experience preferred
Affordable Housing (Section 42) experience strongly preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to perform physical property inspections (with or without accommodations)
Valid driver's license required
