About The Role We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations across a portfolio of residential properties in the Salem, NH area. This position plays a key role in resident relations, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and ensuring properties operate efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily property operations and ensure compliance with LIHTC and other housing regulations.
Assist with rent collection, financial reporting, and delinquency resolution.
Manage resident communication, lease renewals, and move-in/move-out coordination.
Monitor property conditions.
Assist with budgeting and monitor monthly financial performance.
Work closely with leasing, bookkeeping, and administrative teams.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of property management experience.
Strong understanding of compliance, tenant income certification, and HUD guidelines.
LIHTC experience preferred; certifications such as Tax Credit Specialist are a plus.
Familiarity with property management software (e.g., AppFolio) is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $50,000–$65,000
Quarterly performance-based bonuses
