Givens Estates is looking for a Facilities Assistant Director to support our Maintenance team. This position manages the day to day operations of the maintenance division of facilities, manage maintenance purchasing, invoicing, and inventory control, assist the Facilities Director with special projects, and provides leadership to the Department in the absence of the Director and to assure that the highest degree of quality care and services will be provided to our residents.

What You'll Do

Participate in the remarketing process

Coordinate common areas renovations facility wide

Supervise the inventory control of select items as defined by the Director using the provided inventory control software

In collaboration with the Facilities Director, plan, supervise, and monitor facility maintenance and renovation operations to assure the long-term safety, reliability and financial viability of all facility buildings, operating systems and infrastructure

Assist in the construction planning of facility buildings as appropriate

Supervise and evaluate the performance of Maintenance staff

Develop and prepare various operating and capital budgets for facilities management, analyze and review financial performance monthly compared to budget guidelines

Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What you'll need

As a minimum, a 4 year degree is required in a technical or business field is preferred

Must have, as a minimum, 1 year experience scheduling, purchasing, and inventory control in a maintenance setting.

Must have at least 1 year supervisory experience

Knowledge of trades is preferred
