Summary Wealthspire is seeking a highly skilled End User Computing (EUC) Architect to design, build, and evolve a modern, secure, and scalable end‑user technology environment. This role is responsible for shaping the strategy and architecture for endpoint computing, device management, virtual desktops, application delivery, and digital employee experience across a hybrid workforce. The EUC Architect will serve as a hands‑on technical leader, partnering closely with Infrastructure & IT Operations, Cybersecurity, Service Desk, and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver reliable, secure, and user‑centric computing services. This role will also play a key part in supporting carve‑outs, integrations, and future M&A activity by enabling repeatable, secure, and well‑governed end‑user platforms aligned with Wealthspire’s Microsoft‑first strategy.
Key Responsibilities End User Computing Architecture & Engineering
Design, implement, and maintain EUC architecture covering endpoints, virtual desktops, application delivery, and user profiles
Architect and manage endpoint platforms using Microsoft Intune, Windows, macOS, and mobile device management solutions
Design secure, scalable endpoint and application delivery solutions supporting a hybrid workforce
Define standards for device provisioning, configuration, patching, automation, and lifecycle management
Support virtual desktop and remote access technologies (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop or equivalent)
Reliability, Operations & Automation
Ensure availability, performance, and scalability of end‑user platforms
Implement monitoring, reporting, and proactive remediation for endpoint health and user experience
Drive automation, standardization, and lifecycle management across devices and user environments using scripting, policy‑driven management, and self‑service capabilities
Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex EUC‑related issues
Partner with IT Operations and Service Desk teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality end‑user experiences and mature incident, change, and configuration management processes
Participate in day‑to‑day technology operations
Carve‑Out & M&A Support
Lead and execute EUC‑related activities for carve‑outs, tenant separations, acquisitions, divestitures, and integrations
Develop repeatable playbooks for device migrations, user onboarding/offboarding, and application transitions
Ensure minimal disruption, strong security posture, and audit readiness during transitional events
Security, Compliance & Governance
Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Compliance teams on endpoint security, device compliance, identity integration, and data protection
Support regulatory and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, SEC, NYDFS)
Enforce secure‑by‑design EUC standards and continuous compliance monitoring
Vendor & Platform Enablement
Manage vendor relationships and partner with Microsoft, OEMs, MSPs, and software vendors to optimize EUC platforms and costs
Evaluate new EUC technologies and roadmap features for business applicability
Support continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure and operations
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a strong focus on End User Computing
Proven experience architecting and operating enterprise‑scale endpoint and EUC environments
Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Intune, Windows, endpoint security, and device lifecycle management
Experience with virtual desktop and remote access technologies (Azure Virtual Desktop preferred)
Exposure to carve‑outs, integrations, or M&A activity strongly preferred
Solid understanding of security, identity, and compliance requirements in regulated environments
Ability to balance strategic architecture with hands‑on technical execution
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, Azure, EUC‑related certs) are a plus
Ability to travel up to 20 % (Domestic & International)

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $115,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
