Depending on your interest, you may also gain experience in tax, accounting outsourcing, and M&A-related projects. Qualifications
Japanese bilingual (must be able to read and type in Japanese)
Must meet educational requirements for CPA license (CPA license holders are a big plus)
Solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping, including the ability to prepare and analyze journal entries.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel - up to 10%
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in preparing audit work papers, financial statements, and notes
Gain hands‑on experience with accounting procedures and systems
Support accounting outsourcing and simple tax projects when needed
Handle multiple client engagements and complete work on time
Identify accounting issues and discuss with senior staff when necessary
Stay updated on industry trends
Communicate with clients and support their needs
Conduct research and assist with special projects
