The Opportunity We are seeking a
Sales Compensation Manager
to lead incentive compensation strategy and operations across the
U.S. and Americas region . This role will oversee the full lifecycle of sales incentive programs—from plan design and modeling to system governance, monthly commission operations, and executive reporting.
This is a highly cross‑functional role partnering with
Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and HR leadership
to ensure compensation programs drive performance, align with revenue goals, and operate with accuracy and transparency.
What You'll Do
Lead design and modeling of incentive compensation plans
Manage monthly commission calculations and payments
Serve as the
Varicent ICM subject‑matter expert
and oversee system governance
Partner with leadership to align compensation strategy with business objectives
Develop reporting and dashboards to analyze attainment, productivity, and compensation trends
Ensure compliance, data integrity, and operational excellence across compensation processes
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field
5+ years experience in incentive compensation, sales operations, or financial analysis
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Experience with
Varicent or incentive compensation management systems
Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities
Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and senior leaders
Preferred
Advanced degree in Business or Analytics
Experience in
pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries
