IP Specialist (Patent Prosecution) | Join a High-Performing Global Team
If you’re an experienced IP professional who thrives on precision, pace, and ownership this is the role that will elevate your career. We’re looking for a high-caliber IP Specialist to support a dynamic Americas Intellectual Property team, working across complex global patent portfolios and collaborating with attorneys and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. This isn’t just admin support this is a critical, billable role at the heart of patent strategy and execution.
This is a high-impact, billable position with real ownership. You’ll have exposure to cutting-edge sectors (tech, energy, biotech, pharma) working across international jurisdictions and complex portfolios, in a team that values initiative, accountability, and problem-solving.
You’ll take ownership of end-to-end patent prosecution support, including:
Managing and clearing domestic & international patent dockets with zero tolerance for missed deadlines Preparing and filing US & PCT applications, responses, amendments, IDS, and more Coordinating with in-house attorneys and foreign associates across global matters Overseeing filings, sequence listings, and drawings with external vendors Monitoring USPTO activity and ensuring accuracy across all filings and issued patents Supporting global portfolio tracking, prior art management, and cross-citation
You’ll also play a key role in:
Driving process improvements across the IP function Supporting billing, budgeting, and client reporting Acting as a trusted partner to attorneys and the wider IP team
What We’re Looking For: 5+ years’ patent prosecution experience (essential) Strong knowledge of USPTO processes and global filings Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills A proactive mindset – you don’t wait to be told, you take action Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and competing priorities Experience with billing/e-billing systems (a plus) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Compensation & Transparency We are committed to pay transparency. The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
