General Description Of Work The Project Designer will assist the operations team to contribute to the successful execution of projects by preparing them for manufacturing and production. The focus will be on translating design intents into sophisticated shop drawing packages for client review.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Proficiency in Rhino 3D is essential.

Background in utilizing Grasshopper scripts highly preferred.

Strong design engineering skills, particularly relating to digital fabrication.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and requirements.

Excellent communication and organization skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Strong attention to detail.

Curiosity about how things go together and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving.

A continued desire to learn and improve with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Knowledge of architectural products, hardware, and installation methods is a plus.

General Qualifications & Education

1‑3 Years of experience of architectural design or engineering experience preferred.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field preferred.

Duties / Responsibilities

Generate shop drawing files for client review from 2D/3D models.

Create detailed installation and assembly drawings.

Collaborate with the Design Manager and other team members to achieve quarterly goals.

Occasionally engage with clients or designers to address project-specific requirements.

Maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy in all deliverables.

Software A strong working knowledge of Rhino. Experience with Grasshopper and Bluebeam a plus.
