The Marketing Director is responsible for building and executing a results-driven marketing strategy that drives revenue growth, strengthens brand positioning, and supports sales across all channels. This role blends
strategic leadership with hands‑on execution , particularly in a manufacturing environment where product education, distribution support, and lead generation are critical. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Operations to ensure marketing initiatives align with business goals and deliver measurable ROI.
Core and Essential Functions Revenue & Demand Generation
Develop and execute marketing strategies that generate qualified leads and support revenue growth targets
Build campaigns targeting distributors, dealers, and end-users
Manage digital channels (SEO, PPC, email, website, social) to drive inbound leads
Track and optimize cost per lead, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution
Create tools that help the sales team win:
Align closely with sales leadership on messaging and priorities
Product Marketing
Translate technical product features into clear customer benefits
Lead product launches (messaging, positioning, go-to-market strategy)
Develop pricing and value positioning in collaboration with leadership
Conduct market and competitor analysis
Brand & Content Development
Own brand voice, positioning, and consistency across all channels
Oversee and develop content strategy (website, video, catalogs, social, email)
Ensure strong, professional presence in both digital and physical materials
Trade Shows & Events
Plan and execute industry trade shows and customer events
Manage booth design, messaging, and lead capture strategy
Measure ROI and post-event follow‑up effectiveness
Digital & Website Management
Own company website performance, UX, and conversion optimization
Ownership of ecommerce revenue channel
Oversee CRM and marketing automation tools
Ensure accurate product data, SEO optimization, and analytics tracking
Analytics & Performance Tracking
Establish KPIs and dashboards to track marketing effectiveness
Report on campaign performance, ROI, and pipeline contribution
Use data to continuously refine strategy
Build and lead a high‑performing marketing team (internal + external)
Manage agencies, freelancers, and vendors (design, SEO, PR, etc.)
Own marketing budget and allocation
Qualifications & Skills Required
7–12+ years of marketing experience, with
B2B or manufacturing preferred
Proven ability to
drive measurable revenue growth
through marketing
Experience supporting a
sales‑driven organization
Strong understanding of digital marketing and lead generation
Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) along with proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
Detail‑oriented and possess strong time‑management skills
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and ability to create on a short deadline
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. use of protective gear)
Overnight travel may be required
Preferred
Experience in industrial, construction, equipment, or related sectors
Familiarity with distributor/dealer networks
Experience marketing technical or engineered products
Commercial mindset – understands margins, pricing, and ROI
