
MP&L Launch Lead

Responsibilities What you’ll do…
Launch Leadership: Select, develop, and lead the MP&L launch team (PSGs), prioritizing daily activities to ensure successful milestone execution.
Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary MP&L representative at gateway reviews, coordinating between plant leadership, production teams, and suppliers.
Supply Chain Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive balance-out and system-fill plans in collaboration with the Core MP&L team.
Operational Oversight: Manage the new model parts crib, including BOM planning, 9000-series coordination, shipping/receiving, and pre-kitting for launch events.
Supplier Management: Approve supplier rate and flow, manage communication systems, and hold suppliers accountable to promise dates.
Risk Mitigation: Lead shortage meetings and analyze reports to identify, communicate, and resolve critical supply issues before builds.
Executive Reporting: Provide regular status updates and performance metrics to executive management, highlighting risks and proposed resolutions.
Process Implementation: Direct line-feeding, pick requirements, and communication protocols to ensure seamless integration of new model parts.
Qualifications You’ll have…
A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, supply chain engineering or related field
2 years of experience with an within an automotive manufacturing environment
Knowledge and deep understanding of Supply Chain Operations
Strong knowledge of systems like CMMS, Super G, GCP, MCPV, etc
A proven track record in supply chain operations (Inbound flows / Packaging / Outbound flows / Diversity / Demand & Supply planning / In-plant Logistic operations / Warehouse management)
Well-versed with MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Knowledge and deep understanding of Ford MP&L Supply Chain Operations
2 years of experience in in OEM or Tier1 company within the automotive industry
Tenure working on automotive launches
