Job Description Responsible for driving market access strategy, inclusive of go-to-market positioning and price, for launch asset Tavapadon. This position will require go-to-market positioning and messaging for Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and federal channels. This role requires a keen understanding of the US payer landscape as well as an understanding of external policies impacting the current PBM model and pricing.
In addition, this individual will be required to effectively orchestrate communication and alignment across US Market Access channel teams as well as serve as the subject matter expert for the PD Integrated Brand Team. Leverage data, analytics and a strong strategic mind‑set in all aspects of running the marketing component of the business. Provides positive leadership and influences cultural alignment with US Market Access’ ambitious cultural vision.
Responsibilities
Lead the access launch strategy for Tavapadon, a new asset contributing to the highest growth BU (neuroscience) within the AbbVie enterprise.
Develop payer positioning and pricing strategies for launch asset Tavapadon with focus on a differentiated payer value proposition in a highly generic market.
Manage price (ASP) over the course of LRP.
Formulate and adjust Market Access business plans and actions to achieve PD franchise business and financial market access objectives and goals.
Serve on multiple Joint Commercial Committees to drive market access strategic alignment and business priorities.
Launch and manage strategy throughout the brand lifecycle in collaboration on HEOR and RWE needs, gaps, and priorities.
Proactively monitor and engage on government and/or payer policy that may affect access to AbbVie’s PD franchise.
Triangulate market dynamics, constituents’ needs and business priorities to determine the best, market‑advantaged course of action.
Orchestrate communication and drive strategic alignment across multiple stakeholders and leadership teams such as the Market Access Leadership Team, multiple Brand Teams, Account Management teams, and across multiple HEOR, MOSL, Medical, Reimbursement Advisor teams, MABI, Finance, Sales, and Government Affairs/Advocacy teams.
Encourage and demonstrate an enterprise approach through best‑practice curiosity, learning, and sharing.
Demonstrate a “One AbbVie” mindset and perspective in all strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required with 12+ years of experience; preferred experience in Market Access & Marketing.
Strong knowledge of health economics and real‑world evidence.
Demonstrated team leadership, customer‑centric mindset, and strong communication skills.
Positive, solutions‑oriented attitude and proven cross‑functional experience.
Understanding of reimbursement, payer environment, environmental risks, and national account customers.
Experience in multiple channels and reimbursement modalities: buy‑and‑bill, retail, specialty, institutional, and government.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short‑term incentive programs.
