How you will contribute to the team

Americas regional focal point: Serve as the primary communications interface for Americas leadership, adapting global messaging for the regional audience and managing local executive announcements.

Global execution: Partner with the rest of the Marketing and Communication team to manage global social media channels, execute paid media advertising plans, and coordinate asset creation with external providers.

Americas Internal communication: Partner with HR to translate global corporate themes into impactful local initiatives that strengthen employee connection and brand pride within the Americas.

Global media monitoring & analysis: Lead the global PR tracking and measurement process, monitoring coverage across all regions and producing performance insight reports to the team.

Americas employee advocacy: Manage the operations of the advocacy program, sourcing and optimising content to empower staff to share the Satair story.

Global digital integration: Work closely with the Digital Campaign Manager to align editorial content with digital marketing campaigns and web updates.

Key qualifications

Strong organisational and project management skills, with proven track record delivering high-quality outputs on time while managing multiple workstreams.

Strategic adaptation skills with ability to take global strategies and refine them to resonate with the specific nuances of the US and LATAM markets.

Strong digital literacy, including experience with social media management and media monitoring tools.

High-level stakeholder management skills and a can-do attitude, proven ability to lead complex projects across multiple time zones.

This role will involve some travel for business, approximately 20%, internationally and domestically.

About you You’re equipped with a communications, marketing, or business degree (or comparable education), coupled with 10+ years of experience in communications or other applicable areas.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field.

10+ years of experience in communications or other applicable areas.

Availability for occasional travel (one yearly international trip and a couple of regional trips).

Exceptional writing skills and an eye for visual storytelling/asset coordination.

Preferred

Independent Decision-Making: role operates with high autonomy, determining local narratives.

Environment & Interfaces: highly matrixed role, daily interaction with Global Hubs.

Internationalisation & Change: decisions accounting for diverse legal and cultural landscapes of US and LATAM.

Nature of Contacts: frequent contact with senior Americas leadership, negotiation with vendors/agencies.

Strategic / Tactical / Operational responsibilities

Strategic (20%): Recommending regional communication roadmaps; advising leadership on executive positioning.

Tactical (40%): Determining optimal mix of paid media spend; selecting content for employee advocacy; aligning editorial calendars with digital campaigns.

Operational (40%): Managing day-to-day global PR tracking; ensuring on-time delivery of social media assets; coordinating with external providers.

Impact: Decisions directly impact Satair's brand reputation in the Americas, employee engagement scores, and ROI of global marketing spend.

Physical requirements

Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite at the office and 2 days per week from home.

Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment, read documents and reports.

Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone.

Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.

Equipment Operation: able to operate personal computer, telephone, copier, fax machine, and related office equipment.

Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30 lbs.

Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30 lbs.

Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment.

Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer.

Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.

Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor.

Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.

Walking: able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.

Personal Protective Equipment required: safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators/masks, and/or protective gloves as required.

Administrative position only PPE required: steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits.
