Our client, a global consumer goods company, is seeking a Packaging Engineer/Scientist to join their team. As a Packaging Engineer/Scientist, you will be part of the Packaging and Operations team supporting new product launches. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:
$32.58/hr. – $33.48/hr.
Shift:
20 hours per week (up to 30 hours per week max)
What’s the Job?
Responsible for global print supply chain from design to production, ensuring quality standards and issue resolution.
Collaborate with material suppliers and operations to design cartons, blister/thermoforms, and corrugate structures for new and customized products.
Lead testing, validation, and documentation of new packaging structures on operational packaging equipment.
Coordinate project meetings and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to support new product launches.
Develop improvement plans, perform root cause analysis, and document learnings for continuous quality improvement.
What’s Needed?
Experience in packaging design and operational testing, including cartons, blister/thermoforms, and corrugate.
Strong written and oral communication skills for writing test plans and coordinating project meetings.
Ability to work with material suppliers and internal teams to execute iterative design and testing processes.
Knowledge of packaging specifications, validation, and documentation processes.
Experience with cross-functional collaboration across purchasing, package development, and operations.
Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with Enovia systems or experience in a regulated industry.
