VP, Operations Manager Jones Networking is recruiting for a Mortgage Loan Processor to join a Residential Lending Firm in Reston, VA. Mortgage Loan Processor Position Summary: -Maintain open line of communication with customers and Account Executives throughout the process, assisting them with questions and notifying them and other parties with additional requirements and/or conditions. -Review documents and verify data collected by Account Executives. -Ensure program eligibility and compliance with underwriting guidelines. -Calculate income and verify debt-to-income ratio (DTI) prior to submission to Underwriting. -Act in a lead capacity in the timely follow-up for missing documentation pertinent to the underwriting decision and closing of the transaction. -Manage a pipeline of open loan files from set-up to disbursement to closing dates. -Enter preliminary HUD-1 into the Loan Origination System. Qualifications Summary: -Prefer two years experience in a mortgage processing, underwriting or closing function. -College Degree is a plus. -Working knowledge of Freddie Mac LP and/or Fannie Mae DUS. -Understanding of conventional processing guidelines. -Strong organizational and communication skills. -Ability to work in the office 3 days weekly.
