Maura Sullivan for Congress is seeking an energetic and dedicated individual to lead a robust fundraising program for a primary and general challenge. The Finance Director will oversee the campaign's finance plan & infrastructure, manage and plan fundraisers, report on fundraising performance, and facilitate call time with the candidate (inclusive of staffing). This is a full-time position that runs through the 2026 NH Primary, and if applicable, General Election. Responsibilities: Planning: Write and implement a fundraising plan. Set fundraising goals (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) and targets. Work with the team to sync the finance plan with budget needs Fundraising: Organize and, if necessary, staff candidate call time. Write and prepare copy for event invitations, direct mail and some internet appeals Plan fundraising events, including recruiting hosts and finance committee, printing and mailing invitations, soliciting and acknowledging donors. Manage the research plan to expand donor base Management: Hire, manage, and motivate staff, volunteers, and consultants Manage finance committee, plan and execute a fundraising events program and calendar, or manage the relevant staff member. Coordinate candidate's fundraising schedule. Manage call time staffer Oversee all performance metrics and optimize for success Compile and share performance metrics with the team Improvise, innovate, and have fun! Compliance: Supervise daily check collection, deposit, and data entry. Ensure that all campaign activities, including those of candidate, surrogates, staff, consultants, and volunteers, are in full compliance with the law. Review FEC reports before they are filed. Qualifications: At least two cycles of political campaign experience in a finance role Strong preference for candidates with experience staffing a principal Familiarity with fundraising software such as ActBlue, NGP, Action Network, Numero, etc. Strong commitment to democratic politics and policies Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, as well as a friendly demeanor even when under pressure. Ability and willingness to work nontraditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will be based in or willing to relocate to New Hampshire. Compensation: Pay range is $7000-9000/mo and commensurate with experience. There will be a primary win bonus of two month's salary and a $500 healthcare stipend.
