The Boeing Company is currently seeking a

Senior Partner Management Specialist

to join the Strategy and Business Operations – Global Sourcing & Vendor Management (GSVM) team in Kent, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; or Seattle, WA.

The role is responsible for managing pre-contract sourcing efforts and post-contract vendor management of Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) key suppliers. More specifically, this role will serve as a Vendor Manager for Dell Technologies (note – scope of position is subject to change as business priorities change), who provides multiple IDT&S outsourced services to the enterprise.

This individual will work closely with various levels of IDT&S leadership and Product Managers to refine sourcing strategies, consult on the optimal mix of insource/outsourced work, develop Request for Proposal/Information documentation (e.g. Statements of Work, Performance Metrics) and lead the technical evaluations of bidder proposals. Additionally, the position will lead vendor governance, relationship management, performance management, and Risk, Issue, Opportunity (RIO) mitigation support.

Strong cross-functional partnerships will be required with other Boeing organizations, including but not limited to: Indirect Supply Chain, Finance, Global Trade Controls, Global Privacy Office, and Information Security.

Position Responsibilities

Work with IDT&S leaders and their organizations to solve business challenges and opportunities

Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies that optimize the placement of work, internally and externally to meet business goals and objectives

Lead, develop, and manage the documentation of supplier Statement of Work (SOW) requirements, deliverables, and performance metrics (e.g., service level agreements, service level objectives, key performance indicators) in partnership with Product Managers

Lead bidder SOW evaluations, assess supplier capabilities, and gaps to requirements

Assist Product Managers with supplier implementation and transition efforts

Drive vendor management best practices and establish vendor governance (e.g., Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Performance Management) with assigned supplier

Work with suppliers to develop or mature their capabilities to handle the IDT&S work statements

Manage stakeholder & supplier relationships through the sourcing lifecycle

Lead stakeholders and suppliers through conflict resolutions

Identify, manage, and lead mitigations of sourcing or vendor related risks, issues, and opportunities

Facilitate supplier billing oversight and reconciliation

Identify trends in Information Technology, Procurement, and Sourcing industry best practices

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Bachelor’s degree or higher

5+ years of experience in sourcing or equivalent combination of procurement, project management, and vendor management

Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects

Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

Experience developing supplier statements of work and supplier performance oversight

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical field or related

Relevant sourcing or procurement related certifications

Relevant project or program management related certifications

3+ years of experience working within Information Technology

Experience implementing AI solutions within Procurement, Sourcing, and/or Vendor Management scope

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $136,850 – $197,800
