Location: Miami, Florida
Eligibility Requirement : Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with qualified suppliers based on cost, lead time, and performance.
Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
Prepare purchase orders, ensure accurate specifications, and process part estimates and quotes.
Monitor inventory levels and spending to align with the organization’s strategic plan.
Track delivery performance, address supplier issues, and resolve quality concerns.
Serve as the primary contact between suppliers and internal departments; maintain clear communication on order status and delays.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, including items/services ordered and supplier interactions.
Approve invoices for payment, ensuring alignment with purchase terms and deliver.
Provide market insights and participate in strategic planning and process improvements.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Knowledge of industry suppliers.
Aerospace industry knowledge preferred.
Strong negotiation/contracting, analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to compile and present data in a format that facilitates information sharing and decision making.
