
Business Development Specialist

What You'll Do
Proactively generate and qualify new business through outbound prospecting (calls, email, networking)
Build and maintain a strong, active pipeline—this role is measured on activity and results
Own early‑stage conversations and uncover customer needs to create opportunities
Support quotes, proposals, and RFP responses to move deals forward
Keep CRM clean, accurate, and reflective of real pipeline health
Partner cross‑functionally (operations, finance, production) to bring opportunities to life
Identify process improvements and help strengthen how we sell
What You Bring
2‑5 years of experience in sales, business development, or high‑activity customer‑facing roles
Proven ability (or strong drive) to prospect, cold reach, and open doors
Competitive mindset—you like targets, metrics, and winning
Strong communication skills with confidence on the phone and in writing
Highly organized and able to manage multiple opportunities at once
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Excel; B2B experience is a plus
