
Senior Business Analyst (TANS / Child Nutrition Programs)

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Business Analyst
with strong expertise in
Agile methodologies and government program systems , specifically the
Texas Automated Nutrition System (TANS) . The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring accurate requirement gathering and successful delivery of solutions aligned with
federal child nutrition program guidelines .
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document
business and system requirements
Act as a liaison between
business stakeholders and technical teams
Create and manage
user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
Ensure requirements align with
federal child nutrition program regulations (TDA)
Support
Agile/Scrum processes , including sprint planning and backlog grooming
Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood
Analyze system impacts and support
solution design discussions
Assist in testing, validation, and user acceptance processes
Provide ongoing support and enhancements for
TANS-related systems
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a
Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
5+ years of experience working in an
Agile/Scrum environment
Strong experience in
user story creation and requirement analysis
Experience working as a
bridge between business and IT teams
Hands-on experience with
Texas Automated Nutrition System (TANS)
Experience writing requirements in compliance with
federal child nutrition programs (TDA)
