Job Summary MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a motivated, organized, and creative Marketing Coordinator to support Central Marketing initiatives in the Home Office in service to our growing portfolio of communities (40 in 11 states at present). This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to grow in their skills in traditional and digital marketing, marketing communications systems, and brand execution within a mission-driven organization.

The Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in supporting occupancy growth by helping ensure timely marketing execution, direct assistance to community sales and marketing teams, brand consistency, and professional presentation across all platforms.

This role helps to manage the interconnection of projects and systems within Central Marketing, including brand asset management and reputation management.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to the Director of Marketing, VP of Marketing and Communications and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer

Organize central marketing documents and marketing asset libraries wherever housed (Intranet, Affinity, Vimeo, Google, Sharepoint)

Track incoming marketing requests and support timely follow-up

Assist with the marketing aspects of onboarding an acquired community

Assist with the marketing aspects of launching a new development

Work with the webmaster to maintain online stores (functionality and offerings)

Manage the promotional products portal, including coordinating community orders, handling invoices

General proofing/editing responsibilities

Manage and respond to positive and negative reviews across all public review sites. Keep record of negative reviews

Optimize Google My Business community pages and other map apps with regular updated content, blog posting, etc.

Build and maintain community profiles on online directories. Maintain consistency of NAP and other key information

Keeping the KMS for communities (database used by remote Call Center)

Assist with production of wide range of collateral pieces, involving Affinity, Adobe and FoxIt design tools, coordinating with graphics/print team

Create and send email drip campaigns to leads and referral sources delivered through marketing automation software. And issue one-time email messaging on behalf of community teams. Report monthly on open rate and CTR.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications or related field, preferred

0-1 years of marketing experience or relevant internship

Basic proficiency in design software; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
