Remote Travel and Events Specialist

Position is remote with a preference for candidates in San Antonio TX or Memphis TN. Join our dynamic team as a Travel and Events Specialist, where you will play a vital role in supporting various government contracts. You will assist the Project/Program Manager with project oversight, contribute to contract deliverables, and ensure timely monthly reporting. You will help monitor project tasks, configuration actions, and risks while managing one to two smaller-scale projects.

Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with Field Consultants and Region Leads to effectively manage a nationwide field consultant program. You will assist in scheduling and arranging travel and logistics for Field Consultant Region Leads and Field Consultants, ensuring compliance with Joint Travel Regulations for both CONUS and OCONUS travel. Additionally, you will maintain Field Consultant status and scheduling displays to enhance operational efficiency.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Holds a bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) with up to four years of relevant experience.

Must be a US Citizen and fluent in English.

Prior military experience or relevant knowledge is advantageous, along with additional experience in Military Service Programs, marketing, sales, recruiting, education, or similar networking-intensive roles.

Proficiency in Excel, MS Teams, and MS Office Suite is required.

Familiarity with the Joint Travel Regulations is preferred.

Preference for candidates with experience using Government systems.

Please note this position may require up to 25% travel.

Willingness to travel locally to provide briefings to service members and families, contributing valuable information and support for events that raise awareness of Military OneSource.

Compensation Ranges Compensation for this role is competitive and depends on multiple factors, including location, skill set, education level, certifications, client requirements, contract affordability, government clearance level, and years of experience. The salary range for this position is $50,200 - $65,000. Additionally, monetary compensation is one aspect of ASM's comprehensive compensation and benefits package for employees.
