
Graphic Designer – Student Assistant - USFSP

The primary responsibility of the Student Graphic Designer is to help design communication and promotional materials for Housing & Residential Education (HRE). This position is for students attending the USF St. Petersburg campus under supervision by the HRE Graphic Design Coordinator virtually on the Tampa campus. This is an in‑person position. The computer and office space at the St. Petersburg campus will be provided.
Compensation
$16.00/hr

Minimum Qualifications
Be currently enrolled USFSP student in good academic standing.
Have basic knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign.
Be able to work 15-20 hours per week during the year.
Able to work throughout the summer of 2026.
Essential Duties
Design and update assets for web, email, social media, digital screens, and print materials for the in‑house design service.
Assist with development of campaigns and on‑campus events.
Maintain brand consistency across all assigned projects and templates.
Organize design files, templates, and asset libraries, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and quality control across all deliverables.
Collaborate with supervisor to implement feedback on designs.
