Intervention Specialist

Roger Bacon High School, a Catholic, co-ed high school rooted in Franciscan values, is seeking a full-time Intervention Specialist to join our team. Roger Bacon is committed to developing the hearts, minds, and bodies of its young men and women in a caring and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting diverse learners and collaborating with faculty to help all students succeed. Applicants must hold a valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certificate/License to teach students with disabilities. Responsibilities include: Collaborating with the public school district in the development of students’ Evaluation Team Reports (ETR) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Designing and implementing instructional supports and lesson plans for students with diverse learning needs. Working within an inclusion model to collaborate with classroom teachers to support student success. Assisting with classroom intervention strategies and modifying general education curriculum as needed. Supporting students with regular class assignments and organization.
