THE ROLE

We're looking for a Social Media Manager who can do three things exceptionally well: create compelling content, build and nurture a thriving brand community, and use AI to operate at scale. You'll own social strategy and execution across both brands managing five social platforms, two distinct brand voices, a growing creator community of 500+ affiliates per month, and the One Step Faster ambassador program on Roster.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Content Development & Brand Voice

Develop and execute monthly content calendars for RIP-IT and Tachikara across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Snapchat Drive our Media Day model half-day shoots that generate 3+ weeks of multi-platform content from a single session Write copy and develop creative concepts that speak authentically to three distinct audiences: teen athletes, parents, and coaches Maintain two distinct brand voices: RIP-IT (bold, empowering, peer-led) and Tachikara (technical-credible, coach-trusted) Video Production & Content Creation

Shoot and edit short-form social video for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and Stories on a phone, on a field, on the fly Capture authentic, in-the-moment content at events, athlete sessions, and product launches Develop YouTube long-form content Brand Community & Ambassador Program

Own and grow the One Step Faster ambassador community on the Roster platform. Recruit, onboard, and manage ambassadors across softball and volleyball audiences; build the relationships that turn athletes into long-term advocates Optimize the ambassador program infrastructure: tiered benefits, engagement cadences, sampling programs, early product access, and co-creation opportunities Drive ambassador-generated content: UGC pipelines, product reviews, and organic social posts that fuel brand awareness and TikTok Shop performance Serve as the community's main point of contact respond to DMs, celebrate wins, resolve issues, and make ambassadors feel genuinely valued Coordinate ambassador participation in product launches, pre-orders, and seasonal campaigns Social Commerce & Creator Programs

Manage the TikTok Shop affiliate program including creator sampling, onboarding, and performance tracking. Support product launch campaigns across the roadmaps Brief and manage UGC creators; identify top content for Spark Ads amplification AI-First Workflows

Use AI tools for video editing, copy generation, content repurposing, scheduling, and community management to multiply output without adding headcount Build and document repeatable workflows the team can operate without you Identify and pilot new AI tools that move the needle; bring recommendations to the team Analytics & Optimization

Track and report on platform performance weekly reach, engagement, conversion, TTS revenue, ambassador activation rates Use data to iterate quickly; surface content patterns and community insights to inform product and brand strategy WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Background

35 years of social media management experience, ideally with a consumer brand, sports brand, or DTC company Demonstrated experience managing a brand community, ambassador program, or creator network not just posting content Deep fluency in TikTok not just as a user, but as a strategist and creator Strong copywriting skills across multiple brand voices Genuine interest in women's sports, female athletes, or the youth sports world this community spots inauthenticity immediately Video & Photo Production

Required: Ability to shoot compelling social video and photos on a smartphone field, gym, event, or studio Required: Short-form video editing for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts using mobile or desktop tools Bonus: Professional video production skills (lighting, camera, advanced editing) or professional photography skills with a DSLR AI Proficiency

Required: Active daily user of AI tools in a professional marketing context copy generation, video editing, workflow automation, or content repurposing You should be able to describe a specific tool you've built, a workflow you've designed, or a measurable efficiency you've created using AI Bonus: Experience building AI-powered tools, prompts, or automation pipelines that a team relies on HOW TO APPLY SHOW US YOUR WORK
