Children of America is hiring an experienced Assistant Director for our Childcare Center / Preschool. This leadership role is ideal for candidates with experience in daycare management, early childhood education, and childcare center operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in managing daily operations of a licensed childcare center * Ensure compliance with state licensing and childcare regulations * Supervise and coach teachers in infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-k classrooms * Support staff scheduling, enrollment growth, and parent communication * Maintain high-quality early childhood curriculum implementation

Requirements

* Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development * 6+ months experience in a licensed daycare, childcare center, or preschool * Experience in childcare leadership, assistant director, or lead teacher roles preferred * Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and childcare management systems * Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements
