Launched in January 2016, Nature Energy publishes high-quality research and opinion across all aspects of energy, from its generation and storage to its distribution and management, the needs and demands of different actors, and the impacts that energy technologies and policies have on societies. The journal’s scope includes the natural and social sciences as well as economics.We are currently seeking a candidate with broad expertise in energy social sciences. This may include areas such as energy policy and governance, energy economics and market dynamics, societal and behavior responses to energy technologies and energy transitions, and energy justice and equity.This role can be in our Milan and New York offices on a hybrid working model. **Role Responsibilities:****Experience, Skills & Qualifications:** • Broad scientific knowledge and training. • Excellent literary and communication skills. • The ability to absorb new areas of research. • Postdoctoral experience. • Previous editorial experience. a cover letter explaining their interest in the position, salary expectations, preferred office location, and current notice period; * a selection of three papers from the recent literature, **excluding publications in Nature Energy or other Nature Research journals**, that the applicant would consider for publication in Nature Energy, together with an assessment and rationale for each selection.US Annualized Base Salary: Associate Editor: $80,000 / Senior Editor: $95,000. The salary offer may vary based on work experience, education, skill level and equity.
