Channel Marketing Graphic Designer – Catalogs & Apparel

We are seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Designer – Channel Marketing to support the growth of our retail and wholesale channels. This role focuses primarily on the design, layout, and execution of retail catalogs, line sheets, and sales materials. In addition, this position supports apparel production by translating approved creative concepts into accurate, production-ready files for various decoration methods, including DTG, screen printing, and embroidery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to work independently, and communicates effectively with both internal teams and external partners. Strong attention to detail, especially regarding intellectual property usage and legal mark compliance, is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Channel Marketing & Retail Support (Primary Focus) Design and produce retail catalogs, line sheets, and wholesale sales materials using Adobe InDesign Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to translate assortments and launch strategies into clear, compelling assets Manage timelines, revisions, and version control aligned with sales and buying cycles Ensure all materials are accurate, on-brand, and ready for both print and digital distribution Production Artwork & Apparel Support (Secondary Focus) Prepare production-ready artwork using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Communicate with external decorators and print vendors to confirm specifications and resolve issues Operational & Cross-Functional Support Ensure proper use of ™ and ® marks and adherence to licensing and IP guidelines Maintain organized file structures and support asset management systems (DAM/PIM) Assist with mockups, presentations, and additional design needs as required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field required 1–3 years of professional graphic design experience (retail, wholesale, or consumer products preferred) Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign for layout and catalog production Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for production artwork Familiarity with apparel decoration methods (DTG, screen printing, embroidery) Excellent attention to detail and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a deadline-driven environment Nice to Have Experience with AI-assisted design tools to improve workflow efficiency Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems Experience working with licensed or third-party intellectual property Why You'll Love Working at SLAM At SLAM, we believe in doing meaningful work with people who genuinely care.
