Overview The Sales & Marketing Intern will support marketing initiatives while acting as a key contributor to sales enablement efforts. This role is ideal for a student interested in the unique field of technology marketing, enterprise software, and B2B sales strategy. You will collaborate primarily with Marketing and Sales to help elevate the Genus brand, support demand generation efforts, and enable our sales team with polished communication skills and organized processes. What You’ll Gain Real-world experience in B2B technology sales/marketing Exposure to enterprise software sales processes Hands‑on experience with CRM tools and marketing platforms Portfolio‑building design and campaign experience Mentorship from experienced technology sales and marketing professionals Responsibilities Marketing Design and edit visuals using Adobe Creative Cloud tools Assist with CRM management (HubSpot), including list updates, campaign tracking, and reporting (training provided) Help track marketing performance metrics using Excel and reporting tools Ensure brand consistency across marketing materials Build and update PowerPoint decks for Sales and Practice teams Assist in organizing sales materials and client‑facing documentation Support prospect research using LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator Develop foundational knowledge of enterprise software sales (training provided) Conduct market research and analyze trends, competitors, target audiences, and customer preferences Shadow experienced sales professionals, attend sales meetings, client calls, events, or training sessions to observe and learn the sales process (including how deals are closed) Help coordinate sales‑related events, demonstrations, or campaigns when assigned Complete other tasks as directed by sales managers or team members, often with a focus on learning hands‑on sales techniques and contributing to team goals Qualifications A sophomore, junior, or senior currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop required) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Ability to create polished, professional PowerPoint presentations Basic graphic design skills with attention to branding and layout Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Familiarity with LinkedIn and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator Interest in B2B software sales and enterprise technology Preferred Qualifications Marketing, Business, Communications, or related major Interest in technology, automation, or enterprise platforms Experience with HubSpot CRM Self‑starter with a proactive mindset Creative yet analytical Professional and dependable Eager to learn and contribute Location Genus Technologies is in downtown Minneapolis, MN. This role is in‑office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Estimated Schedule and Pay This role will work approximately 24 hours per week (Tues/Wed/Thurs), and it pays $20 per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
