
Senior Construction Superintendent - MEP

We are seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent with Mechanical & Electrical experise to lead, direct, and coordinate subcontractors and trade labor for all mechanical and electrical components of large-scale construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring safety, schedule adherence, quality, and budget compliance. Description Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Low Voltage, Fire Sprinkler). Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and staffing for assigned trades. Coordinate work among trades to ensure smooth project operations and resolve field issues. Enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. Supervise and mentor Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns. Develop and maintain project schedules; implement recovery strategies as needed. Communicate with owners and design teams to resolve field issues promptly. Manage billing processes, subcontractor payment applications, and work-in-place estimates. Ensure installation complies with approved contract documents and specifications. Lead inspections, commissioning, turnover, and training processes for all systems. Maintain detailed daily records of trade contractor progress. Participate in preconstruction efforts, including constructability reviews and logistics planning Profile Qualifications Proven experience managing mechanical and electrical systems on large commercial projects. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple trades. Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in scheduling and project management tools. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and 3D coordination models. Commitment to ethics, compliance, and safety at all times.
