Senior Acquisition Contracting Specialist
This position will support multiple Space Systems Command programs, as well as other initiatives across the Space Force, Air Force, and allied organizations. Primary Responsibilities
Assist the government in executing source selections in accordance with FAR 9.505-4. Support source selection activities, including coordinating meetings, developing documentation (e.g., source selection plans, acquisition strategies, and non-disclosure agreements), and reviewing and drafting proposal evaluations. Provide contract and subcontract management support to government contracting officers and specialists. Assist with requests for proposals, technical evaluations, contract negotiations, administration, and execution. Offer contracts guidance, determinations, and leadership for program and business management teams. Advise management on contractual rights, obligations, risk mitigation, strategy, and problem-solving. Support the management of existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts and assist in developing and executing acquisition strategies for follow-on efforts. Minimum Qualifications
Expert in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and/or SSC contracting processes and procedures Demonstrated ability to lead all aspects of any contract action required by the program office, including but not limited to solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications, and award or incentive fee management Prior PCO or Buyer experience preferred Ten or more years' experience in this type of position or program is required. MA/MS degree is required. This position does not supervise the work of others. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%. Little if any travel is required.
