This position provides administrative and technical support for department processes; supports the implementation of the Agency's communications plan; manages agency social media; writes and distributes agency newsletters; and serves as point of contact for general inquiries from the public. Minimum Qualifications To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume/application clearly describes your experience in the areas listed below, and indicate the beginning and ending month and year for each job held: Degree must be in the area of study: Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Public Relations or English plus the following combinations of education and work experience will be considered: Bachelor's degree in field reference above plus two (2) years of professional experience in marketing and/or communications, graphic design, basic video production/editing, copywriting; and digital marketing campaigns; or Associate of Arts degree in field reference above plus four (4) years of professional experience in marketing and/or communications, graphic design, basic video production and editing, copywriting; and digital marketing campaigns. Excellent verbal, written, editing, and interpersonal skills. Possess a solid understanding of effective marketing techniques. Experience in advertising/marketing and digital marketing. Background in communication principles, media, and public relations techniques. Social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, etc. Background in website management. Be able to communicate clearly and effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience in graphic design and video filming/editing. Background in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Advertising, CMS, and email marketing platforms. Knowledge of software like Drupal, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office. Background in accessibility (both checking documents and making new documents accessible) and ADA compliance software. Ability to work independently, managing projects from inception to completion. Proven ability to create effective communication strategies that consider channels, audiences, messages and feedback mechanisms. Physical Requirements Ability to position self and move sufficiently to perform repetitive tasks. Maintain a stationary position for long periods of time. Ability to carry up to 20 pounds of weight on an infrequent basis.
