Job Summary
The Digital and Web Content Strategist at MNsure is responsible for overseeing, developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing MNsure's external websites. In addition, this position will be the subject matter expert in the design, development, and maintenance of the internal communications platform via MNsure's internal-facing website. This role possesses knowledge and skills relevant to website design, content creation, and project management.
Responsibilities include:
Provide agency-wide, technology-based leadership for managing the agency's external websites. Develop, maintain and champion standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance and content repurposing, including real-time content strategies. Write, edit, and publish content for MNsure's external websites. Use Google Analytics, SiteImprove, or other tools to monitor website traffic, track user experience, gauge content effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement based on those results. Lead coordination between MNsure and statewide IT staff on content management system issues and updates. Provide agency-wide, technology-based leadership for managing the agency's internal-facing website. Lead graphic designer for the agency's printed materials, such as brochures, flyers, letterhead, signage, and other print or display projects. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, journalism, graphic design and multi-media production, creative writing, digital marketing, web design, or closely related field demonstrating the following:
Development of integrated communication campaigns. Experience with content management systems, such as Tridion and SharePoint. Incorporation of social media platforms and tools into website content. Experience with web design and maintenance, mockups and wireframes, information architecture, and project management. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and UI design software. Project management with the ability to scope, organize, and execute multiple projects under deadlines. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, marketing, journalism, graphic design, or a closely related field may substitute for one year of experience. Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders. Proficiency with complex problem-solving and project management. Additional Requirements
