Position Overview
Pay Rate: $14.50$16.50 per hour (DOE) 5 positions available Preferred Dates: May 28-August 14 Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Position Overview: Are you passionate about working with kids and creating a fun, positive environment? Do you have energy to spare and a love for outdoor activities? Join our Mobile Recreation Staff team and help deliver free, engaging recreation opportunities to children in underserved areas through the Rec2U program. In this role, you will organize and lead a variety of activities at parks across Billings, helping create safe, welcoming spaces that promote play, creativity, and community connection. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate mobile recreation activities at various park locations Organize and supervise age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and group play Create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all participants Serve as a positive role model for youth Assist with setup, cleanup, and equipment management Work collaboratively with Rec2U staff and supervisors during programming Provide excellent care and customer service to the public Qualifications And Skills
Minimum Qualifications & Skills: Must be at least 18 years of age Positive, energetic attitude with strong communication skills Enjoy working with children and adults in a community setting Ability to lead groups and encourage participation Comfortable facilitating a wide variety of recreational activities Previous experience working in children's programs preferred Additional Requirements: First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided if needed) Why Apply?
