Agent Banking Participation And Syndication
Provides support to Agent Banking Participation and Syndication through transaction processing inclusive of advances, payments, interest rate rollovers and other necessary transactions to the commercial loans servicing system for our Participation and Syndication portfolio. Completes daily reconciliation of incoming and outgoing cash, monitors exception reports, and updates accounting system as necessary. This position provides a primary role in the servicing of M&T Bank's Commercial Loan Syndication and Participation Loan portfolio, the most sophisticated lending instruments the Bank offers, including all Commercial Loan Products. The borrowers are highly sophisticated financial experts, creating a high level of variability requiring consistent attention. Most processes are manual, requiring highly qualified servicers with experience in Commercial Loan Syndication to properly manage the accounts. No supervisory responsibilities. Education and experience required: Associate's degree and a minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience, OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience Education and experience preferred: Bachelor's degree Prior commercial loan experience Prior work experience in Participation and Syndication products and servicing Prior experience in loan accounting and document review Prior experience working with AFS Level 3 or AFS Vision Physical requirements: M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees.
