Senior Estimator
Prepare detailed estimates, bids, proposals, and GMPs for mid-rise and large-scale multifamily projects. Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to develop complete and accurate takeoffs and pricing. Manage bid administration, including subcontractor outreach, evaluation, leveling, and follow-up. Produce in-house budgets and GMP packages, ensuring all pricing is consistent, documented, and aligned with project requirements. Maintain smooth flow and documentation of all preconstruction information both internally and externally. Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and leadership to support budgeting, value engineering, and cost analysis. Lead project turnover meetings to ensure seamless transition from preconstruction to operations. Build and maintain strong subcontractor relationships to ensure reliable pricing and coverage. Utilize BIM tools for quantity takeoffs, model reviews, and enhanced estimating workflows (BIM experience preferred). A successful Senior Estimator should have: 10+ years of estimating experience in commercial or multifamily construction, with strong mid-rise/ground-up experience. Expertise in developing detailed estimates, budgets, and competitive proposals. Strong understanding of construction means and methods, trade scopes, and cost components. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar). BIM experience preferred. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual preferred. Competitive salary range from $120,000 to $150,000 USD.
