Vantage Data Centers, Sterling, VA, United States
Vice President, Product Operations
Vantage Data Centers powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world's well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises. Developing and operating across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data center design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands. The Vice President, Product Operations builds the operating backbone that enables the Product organization to execute consistently at scale. This leader ensures the portfolio is visible and well governed, performance is measured in a way that drives decisions and improvement, and the Product organization has lightweight operating mechanisms that increase speed and predictability across a global footprint. This role is a force multiplier for Product and its partners, improving alignment and outcomes across the portfolio without functioning as a command-and-control project management office. This role can be based in Denver, CO, Sterling, VA & London, UK, following our flexible work policy (3 days in-office, 2 days flexible). What Success Looks Like
A single, trusted view of the product portfolio is in place and routinely used to set priorities, manage dependencies, and make trade-offs. Executive and cross-functional forums reliably produce timely decisions that translate into measurable results, with clear accountability and follow-through. A small set of portfolio performance measures is adopted and used to drive improvement in cost, schedule, quality, readiness, and adoption of standards. Operating mechanisms measurably reduce unplanned rework, late changes, and cross-team friction, while maintaining pace. Product teams and cross-functional partners report improved clarity on priorities, expectations, and status, with less time spent on reporting and more time on outcomes. Essential Job Functions
