The Director of Retirement is responsible for designing, executing, and continuously evolving a holistic retirement strategy that delivers a robust retirement savings option to help our associates prepare for their future and ensure the firm is compliant with all applicable retirement laws and regulations. This role ensures the organization's retirement plans are integrated into the broader employee experience and culture strategy. Through cross-functional partnerships, data-informed program design, and alignment with inclusion and accessibility goals, this leader drives adoption of financial well-being initiatives. Oversees selection, contracting, and performance management of external vendors, platforms, and consultants. Ensures all solutions are aligned with the organization's strategy, inclusive in design, cost-effective, and deliver measurable outcomes. The Director also partners with the Principal for Retirement and prepares proposals and information for applicable committees and executive groups in the US and Canada to ensure appropriate plan governance for retirement plans. Responsibilities include: Retirement Program Optimization Ensure Regulatory Compliance Cross-Functional Collaboration Promote Resources and Engagement Measure and Communicate Program Impact Vendor and Partner Management Design and Execute a Holistic Retirement Strategy Alignment with Total Rewards and Culture Strategy Thought Leadership and Benchmarking Governance and Leadership Reporting What Experience You'll Need: Bachelor's degree 8+ years of experience with retirement plans, preferably larger than $1B, including: Proven track record of managing complex needs across the organization. Strong knowledge of retirement, deferred compensation, and ERISA compliance. Familiarity with retirement vendors, technology platforms, and communications. Ability to interpret and present retirement plan legal and regulatory changes effectively. What Could Set You Apart: Certification in retirement plans, including RPA, CEBS, CPSP, QKA, or RPF Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026. Before June 1, 2026, candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday. Current INTERNAL home-based associates: If selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status.
